Black cherry, mint, dark chocolate, coffee on the nose. Black cherry, licorice, black currant over astringent and tannic mouthfeel on the palate. Heavy-Bodied with medium acidity.

Hand-sorted before crushed and de-stemmed, fermented hot with punch-downs twice a day. Aged for 44 months in neutral oak, 2018’s Syrah completed malolactic fermentation before aging. Maceration post- primary fermentation for increased tannic structure and color stability. Lengthy barrel aging has smoothed over the otherwise rigid tannic structure.
